Join Bulletproof’s Stuart Crawford with the team from Txtmenow.ca as we discuss texting as a form of marketing.

People are constantly bombarded with ads whether they driving or reading through newspapers or checkingm out websites. This happens so much that the ability for them to sway spontaneous purchases is decreasing with each passing ad. One way to stand out and retain the interest of customers is to provide them with a redeemable coupon upon texting in the appropriate code. For example, once they type in “Mrlube” to 212121 they will automatically receive a $10 coupon. The customer retains the coupon in their phone data bank and provides the retailer with a higher likelihood of it being redeemed.

How TxtMeNow Uses Mobile Technologies

Today, a large majority of all mobile phones can send and receive SMS messages. TxtMeNow leverages this functionality by using SMS text messaging to send directed marketing to potential customers. TxtMeNow also integrates mobile websites into the text messages, as they provide a ubiquitous and favourable interface for browser-enabled mobile phones and smartphones.

TxtMeNow differentiates itself from providers of similar services by only sending marketing messages to consumers requesting information. TxtMeNow does not spam consumers, nor does it charge them a fee for requesting SMS text based information, unlike other providers who charge anywhere from $0.50 to $25 per message sent.
